I have just removed a glued in sleeved action from an old Mcmillan benchrest stock . Used the clothes iron on the scope base method. The sleeve appears to be glued on with Devcon aluminium epoxy. Would the heat have affected the Devcon bond between sleeve and action. Should the sleeve be removed...
