Turbo bolt cycling update Shot the V2 today. Cleaned the throat of the chamber, greased the lugs good and shot eley. Significant improvement was experienced. Thanks much for your suggestions and input. Greatly appreciated.

Closing is more difficult. I have a V1 that is much easier to cycle. I am not the original owner of the V2.

I have not which is an option certainly. However since it left them in this configuration I figured it is the way they think it should be.

My V2 Turbo bolt is a bear to cycle. Is there someone who is known for their ability to smooth these out?? Thanks much for the help.

I know the hard core practice in hurricane winds but for the timid among us is there a wind speed at which practice is not generally productive?

The smith who "tuned" my rifle said he used Eley ammo to tune. If I use Lapua will I need to "re tune" or just test for good lots like I currently do with the Eley. Thanks in advance for help rendered.

If a reader has a Nightforce connection please ask why the fixed 42 power is more expensive than the variable 42 power. To me it would seem to take less material and inner workings to build a fixed than a variable. Anyone have knowledge in this area?

I see many versions of powerful scopes made by Sightron but everyone seems to choose the far more expensive Nightforce. Have many BR folks given the Sightron a chance?? I will spring for the Nightforce if necessary but I am always looking to save a few bucks.
