    Bipod for F-TR?

Okay, I have made a rough prototype today. The mini 'coaxial unit' is done, it weighs approximately 380 grams with/including the joystick. (I'm very happy with the result, it works very well also). I think I still can reduce the weight of the coaxial unit by about 15-20%, still plenty meat on...

Somebody use NEO rest in 1,000 yds match?

Thanks for your response/feedback mikecr. You say personal attack. Who's the one that made it, in your opinion? Please re-read your older posts in accurate shooters.com. Who's made the "issue"? Who's one 'pointing my nose'? YOUR denial. What i have denied? Defensive posture. Well, I don't...

Somebody use NEO rest in 1,000 yds match?

Jim, I'm just too tired to explain the differences between the gen1 and the gen2 NEO, including the top/bag. Actually, I don't (have to) care if the NEO is legal or not for the IBS 1.000yds or the Williamsport PA, my 'market' is much bigger than that & already quite busy with my works. What I...

Somebody use NEO rest in 1,000 yds match?

Charles, That's why I said mikecr knows nothing about my rests. He is also incompetent to say anything about IBS Rules & my rests. He also said that he didn't read the BRC and don't care to. (then why you're so busy to reply this thread, mikecr?) That was a prototype rest & bag, not the...

Somebody use NEO rest in 1,000 yds match?

I forgot to comment about this: Done/no problem. My front/side bags are "V" shape so for instance even the stock has 'flat' on the sides more than 1/2" tall, only less than 1/2" that will contact with the inner sides of the bag. seb.

Somebody use NEO rest in 1,000 yds match?

Charles, thanks for your time. Unfortunately I do not ask how to measure the 1/2 inch requirement, (etc), that is an easy job even 5th grade kids able to do it correctly in seconds. It's too naive to think that I do not know how to measure 1/2" etc. Re-read my questions. I will copy this...

Somebody use NEO rest in 1,000 yds match?

Gentlemen, I understand that many shooters use the NEO rest in point blank BR matches & F-class. But I don't know if someones use it for the IBS 1,000 yds or the Williamsport/PA? Someone here? I'm asking this question because there is issue in accurateshooter.com forum that the NEO rest (and...

    Bipod for F-TR?

Stephen, 2 lbs is plenty, my aim is less than that. Thanks, but later on that. I will only produce it if it works superbly as expected. seb.

    Bipod for F-TR?

That's the challenge Jeff, how to make a joystick bipod that works & works well. As I said in the earlier post, it must also be able to withstand rough/heavy recoil/bouncing etc. I think it can be done. I'm quite optimist with it. I must be able to make a prototype next month and will check how...

    Bipod for F-TR?

sdean, Thanks for your response. I 'aim' 400 grams max (less than 14 oz) for the 'coaxial unit'. Technically it can be done/no problem, it's basically an extra small/miniature of my current coaxial unit. From my rough sketches it's about 1" thick x 1 3/4" tall x 4" long. Another 13 oz or so...

    Bipod for F-TR?

My mistake & ignorance. I think I have 'mixed' the rules, i.e. section #3 for tactical/match rifle into the F-TR. Thanks you for the replies, seb.

    Bipod for F-TR?

To copy from NRA website, Section 22. F-Class Rifle Rules.... http://www.nrahq.org/compete/RuleBooks/HPR/hpr-w22.pdf 3.4.1 Rifle Rests (b) F-Class Target Rifle (F-TR) Rests - A bipod and/or sling are the only allowed front supports for the F-TR rifle. The rifle may be supported by a bipod...

    Bipod for F-TR?

Gentlemen, Can someones explain if a bipod with coaxial/joystick feature can be used (=legal to use) in F-TR? I can't find specific rules about bipod in the F-TR rules, only it shall be a bi-pod (=with two legs). Okay, I plan to make it if it's ok/legal to use. (It's just my newest...

    Interesting IBS bag question

Quote: "This is on accurateshooter.com. Requires some expert response". Tenring, I'm sorry that I'm not an "expert" in anyway. I just did read about the link you provided and gave my comment here. seb.

    Interesting IBS bag question

Looking from Farley's website, the bag sure protudes more than 1/2" than the metal holding the bag. Most likely about 3/4" - 7/8". I work with rulers/calipers/gages almost everyday so I can know how thick is 1/2" or how thin is 0.001" or how long is 28.5" for instance (especially in...

    Interesting IBS bag question

Hi Alex, Thank you for introducing your true name. Well, I don't know... I can't speak about your Farley (old model?) & Edgewood bag, honestly. I only know that they are good/great stuffs & used by many. seb.

    Interesting IBS bag question

Hi Charles, no I wasn't referring to you, his name is not Charles E. He's probably just read about my first prototype rest w/ the prototype bags, without knowing exactly about my latest/production rests, but his "judgement" (which is plain wrong) is annoying to me honestly. I do like & open to...
