I was just doing some velocity tests and wasn't shooting for groups. I thought I'd see lower velocities than I did and I am here asking to be sure I haven't wandered into dangerous waters.

Yes, I wrote them last week and their reply was that they only have 223, 308 and magnum bolt heads. Is that not accurate?

Jim - yes I wrapped 2 layers of tape to the sides and front of the lug. The mud didn't go forward of the lug face but it did cover the back sides and bottom. Yesterday I ground out the bottom a side "shelves" so there was no chance of contact around the edges of the lug. No change in alignment...
