Anyone know if Carlsbad is still bushing pin holes by chance?

Is this another guy that the rests are a side business in his basement that he devotes 5 hours a week to, and wont put up a website? Or is he a full on legitimate U.S. business with a website and an actual building. This is important to me lol

It's the traditional Remington bdl blind magazine componentry. At this time, my loads haven't reached the oal that would prohibit it from loading into that mag yet. I have another round of load development coming up for it so we shall see if I have to go out longer than mag length oal.

I load kind of quick, but I wouldn't say it's fast at all. Shooting 6.5 creed.

Tuned 700. Mine looks like the 'coned breach'.

I ask because there's a little space where a loaded cartridge can sit, when I push the bolt forward that makes the tip of the bullet smash into that 'face' if you will of the barrel. Not sure how a coned bolt would help me. And there's no feel lips per se because it's a blind magazine.

I have a question about installing a barrel in an action. When you chamber a barrel and thread it in, I wonder why before it's threaded in, gunsmiths dont chamfer that face of the barrel so that bullets dont smash into that flat there when chambering. Is that a thing?

Gotcha. In your opinion does Douglas lap their barrels pretty good?

Would anyone know where the tooling marks that are perpendicular to the bore axis come from on a button barrel by chance? I always thought once you pulled the button through the bore was totally and completely smoothed out; is that not the case?
