I should have stated
It is a .243 with a thumb hole cameo varmint stock. The thing weighs 16 lb. I feel that contributes to the accuracy somewhat. Has a nice tight camber, lugs lapped, receiver squared, blolt face trued. The whole 9 yards. Its more of a bench gun than a varmint rifle. I have also found the rifle likes Norma brass. Its topped with a 3x12 power Burris fulfield scope and Burris posi line rings with an anti cant device mounted on the rear of the scope tube. I'm using Hornady 75 gr. HP. Varget powder (37gr,) My best 3 shot group so far is .100" at 100 yd. 4 shots wil open the group up to about .180" The rifle shoots better than I can so if I do my part this thing is a tack driver. I can't seem to get it to shoot the vmax bullets as good as the HP's though. And as you can tell by my user name I like those vmax bullets.
Thanks for asking,
