Im a newbee never competed. Had fun years ago shooting a trued Remington 6PPC off the bench just for fun. Was using a Hart Base and a Howen windage adjustable top. Never understood the advantage of cranking the little knob vs just pivioting the top to get to the next target ?
Im also wondering does Ron still sell this top ? (seamed like the best buy out there back in 02")
I know from reading the Joy stick tops are the cats ass but to pricey for me.
NEED TO BE UNDER $300
Thanks

Here's the best for the money. I have one and wouldn't trade it for anything. The Cowan Rest includes a windage top. Pictures and additional info are here, compliments of Dick Grosbier: http://www.bench-talk.com/oldboard/6932.html. The pictures are a little outdated and don't reflect some of the improvements that are now offered. Joe Cowan is a real gentleman to deal with. Customer Service is Tops. :)
