Winchester 52C serial number

I have a Winchester 52C with a target barrel and a 10 power unertl scope serial #806xx. Can anyone tell me where I can find a list of year of manufacture for the serial numbers. Gun is in as new shape and shoots great. Just would like to know when it was made. My guess is 55 -56?

I've got a 52 no suffix rifle that was made around 1939. Just now dawned on me that it was made the year before I was born.
