Wilbur, what's changed with the software?

The New Posts list is acting sort of funny & sporadic for me this morning.

For starters, when I point to a subject, it highlights in red. I thought it used to highlight in darker blue bold, but that's all fine.

When I return from reading a thread using the back arrow, I get different things happening:

  • Sometimes the earlier threads are shown as having been read, using the non-bold case protocol that used to be the norm when you reclicked on the New Thread key during a session.
  • Sometimes they go back to normal bold & the most recent thread stays highlighted in red bold.
  • Sometimes nothing happens, just like it was yesterday.
I'm not paranoid - hell, they're hardly ever after me these days - but this is a tad bizarre.

Relax John,

The men in the white coats will take care of you.:)

Does the same thing happen to you pull the trigger on long range targets?:)

Seriously, the three choices at the bottom of the page are Standard, Christmas, and Blue Style.

In one of them the header will disappear, one will turn black, and the other will turn blue. At lease that is what happened to me a minute ago when I tried all three.

Haven't changed anything..

But that doesn't mean it hasn't changed !!

Soon...when I gather the guts...there's a new upgrade that will need to be installed. Perhaps that will "fix" it for those that are broken.

A question about an unrelated (seemingly unrelated) problem. At least two fellows are experiencing THIS problem:

From the Benchrest Central home page (http://benchrest.com), click a link and then click your "Back" button. How many of you get the normal home page and how many get a distorted page?

The two mentioned are seeing double the "category" column and nothing else.

No chance that their issue coincided with mine, timewise?

Everything (libel excluded) has been normal since that particular login.
