One of the Best Super Bowl games I’ve ever watched. Right down to the very last play of the game. The under dog Eagles had a plan. That plan was to win. It was fun to watch.

When you're paid to play, it pays to have a plan to win.

I,m a big fan of the game itself.

Son in law and family are Eagle Fans so I watched the last Quarter and have not watched one game other than this year. In fact I canceled my subscription to be able to watch any game being played. The players can cry whine and protest all the want but they have not walked in my shoes for the past 49 years of my married life and the respect and hard work I provided to not only my family and still do but to also support this my Country and all of those who continue to fight for it.
What amazes me the most is the NFL.commisioner wants a raise and a private jet for life and I'll be damned if I help to provide him those wishes and would much rather see him loose his job the unpatriotic S.O.B.

Athletics

I don't condemn a Sport because of the actions of a few idiots(Kids) who earn million dollar salaries. If a Benchrest shooter kneeled, during the national Anthem, at the Super Shoot(Hypothetically),would you quit the Sport?.

Athletics is a major financial contributor to our institutions of higher learning, especially Football. Answer this question.....If your Son or grandson, in College, was signed by an NFL Team, would you watch him play on Sunday?. I am an Army Veteran. I have the NFL Sunday Ticket. I say again, this was the best Super Bowl I've watched in a long time.

I'd be willing to bet that the TV in the Oval Office was tuned to the Super Bowl Game.

I'm not amazed that RG wants those things; however, we're almost powerless to avoid "help[ing] to provide him with those wishes." I suspect every time we buy whatever products are advertised on TV that we're helping provide him with those things.

Im not a fan of Football

I grew up in a place where the schools were not big enough to field football teams so I never developed a love? for it. And beside that, I have never been much to idolize anything and particularly individuals.

Having said that, She Who Must Be Obeyed wanted to watch some of the game during periods when there wasn't something else more desirable to watch. I would opine New England either threw the game or their offensive line was on some kind of sleepy pills, based on what I observed. Heads will roll, I predict!

Pete, seriously...WTF. You better schedule a Dr. appointment because IMHO it's time somebody reviews your meds.
It was probably, from start to end, one of the best superbowls in about 25 years.

Why would I watch a bunch of people play a game that's outcome means nothing when I can go out and do something for myself.

I did something for myself. I watched the Super Bowl game on my Big screen Tv, at home.

What does it mean? I witnessed history in the making. The Eagles are World Champions for the first time in franchise History.
