I recently purchased some guns from a gentleman who's father was an avid custom rifle builder/shooter. He passed away ten years ago and the son finally decided to sell off his stuff and I purchased all of it in one lump sum including machinery and tools I am keeping all the tools and tooling but would like to sell the guns bieng that my thing is shotguns and I really don't know what I have when it comes to all these rifles any info would be greatly appreciated

The pics I have include is one of the rifles I don't know the chamber but I do know it is glued into the benchrest stock it is built on some sort of custom action and has a trigger pull that averages about 3 ounces I also have a rail gun made out of a remington xp 100 action that is chambered in .223 40 Degree also extra parts to go with it and a couple other guns if interested i could upload pics of those too any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks

The action looks to be a Wichita. Probably from late 1980s / early 1990s? Might be of interest to a fan of benchrest history or someone wanting a low cost entry level rifle, but not what you will see in a match today. Those actions can be very accurate, but are slow to shoot.

Yep Wichita

It looks like it might be the version with the shell holder bolt face. I inherited one of those with a Rem BR trigger on it. Might build a bunny buster with it some day. Out of interest what would an action of the type I described be worth ?
Andy.

It appears to be a Witchita 1375 with a Canjar light pull trigger, I've owned 2 both built by Fred Sinclair. I'd guess in todays market you've got $750-$950 in value there, the lower end if it's a .22 caliber. I could be wrong but I think they made the first RBLP made all for the princely sum of $325

Should have looked closer

No it's not a shell holder model
They we're shorter and had no. Port

Yeah I should have looked closer at that. Realised my blunder later. It would be interesting to see a runner in competition try to shoot the shell holder type real quick.
