What Is The Fastest Way To Size Necks Only On A Wildcat Case?

I just did my second barrel job only too discover I ran the reamer in a little bit too deep giving myself some very short necked cases ala WareWolves like Al Nyhus shoots.

I need to size the necks only using a bushing type die but I need the bushing to reach right against the shoulder.

I've been on the phone all day trying to figure out the fastest way to get this accomplished.
Any Ideas?

Why not trim the butt of the bugger a tad & try again?

Aren't you going to have a helluva jump between the end of the case & the start of the throat, or do you have spare brass on the donor case to fill the full neck length?

I ran 100 fireform cases down the barrel with 75 using C.O.W. and 25 using a false shoulder and bullet both.I had a 15 shot group that looked like a 30 caliber hole at 100 so I don't really want to start over. The 1000 yard nationals is now less than 3 weeks out or I would just order up a custom reamer.

a pc of round stock, or bbl material....
ream with your reamer...deep as in the bbl or deeper....so case can go flush plus
counter bore neck to the shoulder to fit 1/2" neck bushing.
finish top flat if neck does not exceed hieght if bushing
if longer
make a spud that is hollow for neck dia plus, 1/2 od stepped up to die od....
use in a arbor press...no threading
yes ??you can adjust neck bushing with the height of the internal shoulder on the spud...so case is not sized.

Mike I got a couple phone calls today at work and that is how I am going to do it.I will keep removing material until the bushing sizes more of the neck.
