What calibre?

I was checking the current NBRSA HV and LV records and noticed that 5 shot 100yd HV record and the 5 shot LV 100yd record were set in 1975 and 1973 respectively.
Now my question is what calibre these records were shot with, i am aware that the PPC was developed in 1975 so was the HV record shot with a PPC?
What about the LV record shot two years before the appearance of the PPC? Thanks

9/13/1975 0.027 inches Ralph Landon HV
9/23/1973 0.009 inches Mac MacMillian LV


Mac shooting a .222 if I recall correctly.......... Not sure about Mr. Landon, possibly a 6PPC....?
