but didn't like either one of them. They weren't 1/8" click and weren't as bright as many of the other scopes I've had. I am currently using the old Burris scopes. I found a pristine shiny black one a few years ago and I can see the rings with it. It is absolutely reliable. The other is a silver Burris, a newer vintage but the same era, before the series that have the adjustable ocular lens. It too is very sharp and has been stone reliable. Some claim they can't get the parallax completely out of them but of all of them I've had, I never had an issue with them.
Another great 6X scope, if you can find one is the Sightron HBR. I have two of them and they are great as well. Big glass in them and bright. Found one this fall like new so it came home with me. I have shot it and it is true.
The best thing I can say for Leups is they still make them and they have a great warranty. Ive never seen fit to spend the big money for the custom variables. Never figgered they made any difference.
