IBS has a 10.5 lb class, but almost everyone shoots 13.5 lb.

In IBS Score rules, Light Varmint is 10.5-lbs. and Heavy Varmint is 13.5-lbs. Both of these shoot in the VFS class. The only function of LV/HV is in records which are still kept separate even though both weights compete together.

I think you would find at the average Score Shoot there are around 10 HV for each LV. Probably largely because there are at least 10 thirty cal rifles for each 6mm and the 30 has a good bit more recoil so a little heavier rifle is desireable.
