Weaver Repair

My Weaver 36x no longer is holding to point of aim.

Can anyone recommend a place to have it repaired?

I just received my T-36 back from Weaver repair. It was a two year old scope and I could not find the sales receipt, I called the Weaver repair folks and they said not to concern myself about it, they gave me a return authorization number to use when I sent it in.

Since it only came back yesterday I have not had a chance to try it but it did contain a repair checklist showing what was repaired on it and it was all at no charge, no hassle. It took just about a month from the time I sent it in until it came back - good enough service for me.

p.s. - the Weaver website has the phone number and full instructions for getting the return authorization number before returning the scope for repair.

CALL WEAVER, THEY ROCK!!!!!!!
I just had my Weaver repaired , and had it back in 2 weeks flat.

Called--they said mail it to them. They supplied all of the needed data.

Now if Weaver would just make a 45x or 10-50 , oh well.

You can still get the original Davis scope booster that screws right on the eyepiece of your T-36. I have used one on all four (1 booster 4 scopes) of my T-36s and it works well. It is not especially cheap, but it's probably less money to buy one than what the increase in price would be if Weaver redesigned the T series to be 40x.

I have one of the slip on types for use on some other scopes as well. These boosters also work just as advertised on all my scopes but one. You do have to follow the instructions exactly when using the booster.
