We lost a dear friend this morning

Garland (Bill) Hull passed away this morning. Bill was a proud Marine and a Vietnam Veteran. Bill was a tunnel rat. He is survived by his sweetheart, Mikel Shilen, his dad Robert, daughter Natalie, and son Wade. Bill had 2 Grand Daughters. Most of you know Bill as the person that worked with Ed Shilen and ran the barrel shop at Shilen.
Bill and John Bunch were my early mentors in BR.
I sure will miss him.
Services are pending, but maybe Tuesday. I will post info as I have it.

So sorry to hear about Bill Hull passing away. He was one helluva man and will be sorely missed by those who knew him. Thanks to Butch Lambert for bringing this to our attention. We lost a good one there.

This is truly sad news. Bill was an integral part of Shilen for many years. My condolences to Mikel, Wade , and other family and friends. We are certainly diminished. James Mock PS- Here is a picture that I scanned from PS magazine. I regret the quality of the image but for those that did not know him, here is a picture of him sitting at his work station at Shilen. Rest in peace Mr. Hull.

Sad News

I met Bill a long time ago, when I first stated BR competition. He was a very intelligent guy who was always willing to share his knowledge about the Sport. Bill took with him, a chunk of Benchrest History. He will be missed. May he RIP.
