Saturday at Strategic Edge was a most pleasant day. We started the day with the temp in the upper 60’s. The wind was light and a constant 3-5mph for most of the 100 yard match. We had our best turnout for this season and maybe ever with 21 rifles competing. We had one new shooter (Thanks Charlie Seifried) who came up from Alabama with Bob Baker. We also had Mitch Morris & Bob Carver make the 100 mile drive down from Elkton KY. When we moved out to 200 yards the wind didn’t pick up all that much, but it began to switch and the mirage was heavy. This accounted for the lower 200 yd and GA scores. Congrats to the winners.

Also, congrats to Jr Rigsby whose Unlimited record from the last Two Brothers match has been confirmed. We will be shooting at Two Brothers next Saturday September 2nd. The match will begin at 8:00 AM and as always it is helpful if you let me know that you plan to be there. Don’t forget to make reservations in Somerset if you plan to attend the UBR Nationals on September 14-15th. It’s gets busy around at that time and rooms have been known to be in short supply.

that shows what caliber ubr shooters are using? Tks

Caliber is listed on the same row as the shooter in the column marked "61". 6PPC and 6BR are self explanatory. The 30 in Factory Class is a 308. The 30's in Custom are 30BRs. The "6" next to Rick Fox in Modified is a 6 Beggs. We don't do a complete equipment list, but if you have a specific question regarding an individual shooter I know what most people shoot and can find out about the ones I don't recall.
