Turning necks with km neck turner

I rescently purchased another neck turner with carbide cutting mandrel form KM Shooting Products. My 1st turner is from the old company K&M. I started turning necks with my new turner. While tuning the necks I could feel a light clicking/thumping as I was turning the neck. I noticed that the inside of the necks had scratches in them. I called Roger Miller at KM & discussed the problem. He sent me a new cutting mandrel. I returned my old one. Started turning the necks with the new mandrel & found it was extremely hard to get the brass to come back off the mandrell & was actually heating up the cutter holder body. I called Roger again & we discussed the problem through several phone calls. He has contacted his supplier for the carbide mandrel's & they are fixing the problem. We need more people like Roger supplying our Benchrest products. GREAT JOB ROGER. I would not hesitate in recomending his products. He stands behind them.

Another Roger for Roger

I received a K&M neck turner recently from a 2nd party vender. All new to me, mind you. It didn't make sense. Mr Miller was patient enough to listen to me for far too long to correctly diagnose the problem. The vender had omitted a necessary part. Anyway, for the customer service and patience of a sage, I give the man a perfect 10. I got the part free in three days USPS. :)

Russ, I had the same problem a month ago, they didnt say anything about it being a known problem. I just ordered the standard mandrel and kept going.
But they guy was really nice and helpful. I will continue to buy from them.
