Trimming Short

Hello everyone
I have recently joined the AR community, and purchased a 6.8 SPC by Noveske 1 in 12 twist 16" bbl. This caliber has few choices in casings. Hornady, Remington and Silver state Armory. I have SSA. I have always shot for accuracy and this endeavor is no different. I Deburr flash holes, uniform pp, a light cleanup neck turn, and I like to trim all my cases. Here's my problem: The trim length is 1.676. About half my cases are short, with several in the 1.672 area. My first 100 I have 5 and 6 firings on, and my second 100 I am on 2 and 3. I can't get them to grow to trim length. I am starting my third batch and I was wondering if you guys think there would be no harm in trimming them all to 1.672? Will this degrade my accuracy?

ETA: I use Redding S-Type fl sizer w/.003 shoulder bump if that matters.

No concern for accuracy. I would worry about a carbon ring forming just in front of your shortened neck, then you could start having an accuracy problem.
