Tracker stock weights and options

I have a 17 pound rifle with a tracker st1000. Great on the bench, but too heavy to carry.
I would like to build a lighter varmint/ bag rifle in the 13-14 pound range. I would like a timber laminate stock.
Barrel chamber will be 6mm dasher.
I shoot a lot with a factory varmint rifle that weighs in around 10.5 pounds, and have found this to be a bit light on. it can jump a lot when firing.

Will a baby tracker give me the difference?
or would i need to go to a hunter class stock?

I have sent an email, here is the reply,
The standard Rutland laminate ST-1000 is around 3.75lbs. depending on the inlet. The Baby Tracker in the same laminate is around 2.35lbs.
