I think I am going to make it. I'm in Corpus Christi right now on a job, I should be finished up Friday morning.

I have everything ready, just need to show up.

With the current forecast calling for 100% chance of rain Saturday, how does that work? I mean there are covers at Tomball so I assume you guys still shoot? Perhaps just in between the downpours if any?

Waders?

You have three choices at Tomball for footwear when it rains. They are rubber boots, preferably in "coon ass white"; barefoot, which Jackie prefers, so you can feel the mud and fire ants ooze up between your toes or you can wear your regular footwear which you will need to throw away after the match. This later choice is preferred by my traveling buddy Dickie Pustejovsky. I must say he he does look resplendent in his orchid suede, mink lined, knee high, platform heel boots until he steps out from under the canopy and coats them with mud. I use rubber boots but would prefer to go bare foot. Unfortunately the fire ants bite my toes and don't die on contact with my feet like they do with Jackie. Tim

"coon ass white" boots on a water soaked range except Don Geraci?

In Registered Benchrest Matches, you shoot rain or shine. With a few exceptions.

If it is so foggy you can't see the targets.
If there is a fear of lightning so that the target crew cannot go down range.
It gets too dark because of delays.

I have been at matches were all of these happenned, but they are few and far between. The general rule is, if your relay is up, you shoot.
