Tipton Ultra Jags

They are nickel plated brass to keep the brass from reacting with cleaning solvents. However, the nickel plating is much harder than brass and in my opinion more likely to damage a bore or crown. If you are wanting to get away from the brass jag reacting with your cleaning solvents, recommend you go to the derelin jags available from several places.

Thats what I was thinking about the nickle being harder.
Any other opinions or expierences? Please chime in.
 
All three of my nickle plated Tipton jags are wearing thru. It was a great idea but didn't last long enough to recomend anyone buying them. I am looking at replacing them with delrin jags.
