Tikka Barrel Threads

I am thinking about fitting a new barrel to a Tikka, stainless action, Model M595 White Tail sporter, caliber .308W rifle. Before I attempt to remove the barrel, does anyone happen to know what size the barrel threads are?

If, in fact, you intend to remove the barrel, why not do it and then measure it?

I would think they would be the same as a Sako, 18 per inch. and then cut threads to fit.
 
John, Someone knows what the threads are. Try calling parts and they will find someone who knows. I understand why you might like to know. Might be if they are metric you would leave it as is or whatever reason it's a valid question. Kenny
