Actually, they look pretty nice. A friend has a second custom hunting rifle in the works, that is based on a Remington titanium action. To paraphrase: Light costs money. How light do you want to go? These actions are probably cheaper than buying a Remington just for the action.
Oh, and Al, not to worry, I am on the AccurateShooter.com all the time, and there are no problems associated with it. If your laptop is dragging its butt across the lawn, you might want to look elsewhere.;)

Al if your having trouble with pop-ups you need to change the settings in your browser and other anti-virus software.

Those that are interested should call Tom Myers of X-Treme Shooting -- he has more info on the solid-bottom Titanium actions in the works.

AlinWA: on this page: http://bulletin.accurateshooter.com/2011/01/x-treme-shooting-products-unveils-new-titanium-actions/ there are a couple of inline jpeg banners, four sponsor buttons, and two network-served ads. We do not allow "PopUps" or Pop-Unders. Some of the ads ARE animated -- but that's different than a pop-up which replaces the foreground with no interaction by the user. If you saw that it didn't come from my server. We don't even have the capability to deliver pop-ups. (from AccurateShooter.com webmaster).

Sorry "Yo" ........ I didn't recognize the connection, and when some idiotbanner (animated GIF) came goobering across my screen I overreacted.

I detest in-your-face advertising where I have to do something to get rid of it. I will go out of my way not to buy from one.

And I will leave a site immediately when they come up.

my bad
