The 80 gr. Berger

Hi, can anyone tell me if the 80 gr.match Berger bul. will shoot in a 8 twist brl. I have the chance to make a good deal on this bul., but wanted to know if it would be any good with my present twist. I do not have the brl. installed as yet, and this is why I cannot try it out for myself. And I have to make the deal on these bul. in the next 3 days. Thanks for your help. My gun is a single shot Sav. action, Shilen Varm brl. LP stock. The cal. is a 6mm BR Norma.

It should shoot fine. It'll be stable and I've never blown one up. It should also be a fine varmint round with lots of extra rotational energy for a satisfying POP!

I have a 12 twist PacNor on my Savage chambered in 6BR. It seems to like the 80 grain bullet best of all. Seems like about 3120 fps or thereabouts is the best load using Varget or 135.
