Thank you, barrel makers

It was great to see several of our barrel makers shooting at the Nationals in St. Louis. Jack Sutton from Hart, Wade Hull from Shilen, Clay Spencer from Spencer and Tracy Bartlein from Bartlein were not only in attendence, but competed. If I overlooked some, please forgive me.

It is always good to see the supplier's of our equipment willing to get in the field and observe their products, first hand. Thanks, James Mock

Ditto to what James said....great bunch of people. I talked to Wade and his Dad during pratice, these guys are dedicated.

One instance I do want to bring up, a friend of mine went to the line with a rifle a friend loaned him because something was wrong with his. Well, just by chance, the ammo he loaded for it wouldn't chamber. Clay Spencer, who follows him on the bench, gave him his rifle and ammo and went back to the loading area to rush and get some more ready for himself. Now that's what builds friendships. Kudos Clay.

I've seen so many of these instances over the years. It's one of the biggest reason I compete in this sport...the people. I can punch holes in paper on the farm and enjoy myself tremendously but being around such people brings out the better in all of us or at least it does for me.
