The Spring Shootout was won by Tymn Combest of San Angelo, Texas dropping only 20 points all day. Joe Duke of Utopia, Texas was 2nd only 10 points back. These two guys are always in the mix it seems. The switchy wind did not seem to hurt them at all. I believe that there were 54 shooters, but some of the Duke clan was not there and I did not see the East Texas boys as they were working on the new range in Huntsville. I think that some of the San Angelo bunch was also working on their range. I Heard that the Utopia shoot is a sell out. I will see you there if you got in. If you didn't get in, the trip is worth it just for the food. Once again, congratulations Tymn and Joe.

Hopefully we can get Tymn so liquored up Friday night before Utopia that his chances of winning will be diminished.
Congrats to Tymn and Joe on their great scores. Not only can they shoot, they are just "good people"

Tymn won't be there. He had prior plans.

You are sure right about the San Angelo bunch working on the range. We are building 12 new state of the art benches to match eight existing ones. We have extended the 200 yard range to the right. Dan Batko and Gary Dickson have really done some work with the help of us 22 benchrest boys. There has been welding , concrete work, painting, hole digging, and a lot of planning for the match here in San Angelo this next Sunday. If you come, You will be more than welcome.
