Target Measurements.

No 600 yard or 1000 yard BR where I live for 500 miles (that I know of). I thought some one may have a ploting sheet or something. Where do I buy them?

Arrowmaker,
Here is a link to a diagram I drew up years ago showing the official IBS 1000yd target scoring rings and overall target size. IBS 1000yd target dimensions.

The NBRSA uses the same target dimensions for 1000yd. It's been so long since I've shot at the PA 1000yd club to know what target they use anymore. Last I knew the used the old 4'x6' targets with the same sized scoring rings centered on the paper. The 6' dimension would be the horizontal dimension. I'm sure one of the current PA members on this message board can clarfiy that for you.

600yd IBS target is all the above 1000yd scoring ring dimensions reduced 60%. The overall target size is a little different but the scoring rings are 60% reduction of the 1000yd sized rings. Can't remember the overall paper dimensions anymore. And I beleive the NBRSA 600yd target changed a couple years ago also. Don Neilson had one on display at the NBRSA 1000yd Nationals in Byers, CO. It was different than the IBS target but don't have the dimensions. I'm sure someone can clarfiy that for you also.

hope this answers your questions,
Steve

Measurements IBS

1000 yd.= x ring 3" in a 4" aiming square, 7" 10 ring, and each ring from there out is 6'' bigger (9 ring = 13" etc). The 600yd= 1 & 3/16" x ring, 2 & 7/16" 10 ring, 5 & 3/16" 9 ring, every ring from there out is 2 & 3/8" bigger.

targets

arrow maker,
Our targets at Williamsport measure 60" long 42" high. The x ring is 3" the square patch is 4" the 10 ring is 7" the black area( which is now blue) is 13".Hope that helps. Not a lot of work it took me longer to type in the info than it took to measure it.

Thanks Every One!

Thanks for helping me out! I am trying to get started and this gives me an idea of what i will be dealing with.
