Super Shoot

Good luck to the participants in this year's SS. This is the traditional travel day for Richard Milton and myself. Richard just had quadruple by-pass surgery, so we are forced to miss this one. Although I shot in a 600 yard match today, my heart seems to be at Kelbly's. We would probably be at Cincinnati about now if we could have made the trip. I didn't realize how much I would miss not being there. Not seeing old friends is the worst part of missing the SS.

Also, not being able to badger Bill Gammon hurts. Bill, you can go ahead and send me the quarters that you know I would have won.....:p
Bart and Billy, I sent you a little package c/o Kelbly's. I hope that you enjoy.
Jerry Sharrett, I regret that I will be unable to try and straighten you out on political matters.
Gene Bukys, you won the Chippewa match so many times that they cancelled it. :D
David Halblom, thanks for the cartridge holder. Good shooting to all. James Mock
PS- John Mangus, try to keep Dr. Jim on the straight and narrow.

Gammon is here...HH! His usual joviality of Canooookerie.

HobIe said only 11 at Chippie!

Rained yesterday.....all day.

My motor home is in WV...hose clamp broke, drained coolant, blew head gasket.

Got a van to haul enough to shoot.....wind yesterday about 12-15 and screwed.

JD get you a Enerprise van and come up anyhow! I have you a table in the big shed.....

Looks to be 5 relays so far.....bunch ha. goodies for door drawing.

James, could you expound on Richard' surgery. The last time I saw him was at The Crawfish, he did not indicate any problems then.

Jackie, he didn't know that he had problems at that time. About 2 weeks ago, he had chest pains and went to his family Dr. This Dr. sent him immediately by ambulance to Alexandria and they did the surgery. He had a mild "heart attack" and was lucky that his family physician took immediate action. He is at home now and doing well. Thanks for asking, James Mock

James

Tell Richard to get well soon. He has a lot more shooting to do.

Later
Dave
