Thanks fellas. Just too bad this country is in such a partisan mode right now and many have "forgotten" enough to where it will happen again. This war is a very divisive subject. But agree or disagree on how it is being run and all the political BS that goes with it, the facts still remains the same...... There are 1000s still out there and they would do it again in a heart beat. I know I'm preaching to the choir here but that is something we can not forget. That is how I rationalize this day in my head. Hard to do while listening to the talking heads on TV though.

Until our paths cross again Semper Fi!

P.S.

Jim,
Next time you talk to Scott ask him about the 86yr old charactor we meet outside our hotel room at the IBS 1000yd Nationals. He was an Iwo Jima survivor! Didn't take long for him to start telling stories either. Too funny to hear him tell them. He couldn't even remeber how old his oldest son was but he could tell stories about a barrel full of alcohol they found on Guam back during the war.
That is 2 different Iwo survivors I've met now in the course of approx 2 months. Then this fellas wife told me I was too good looking for a Marine and Scott and David jumped on me about that! I guess that is what I get for traveling with a Sailor on one side and a Army dog on the other. hehehe

We all shook his hand and that was cool!

Steve
