Steel Cleaning rod

Yes,

good,

I replace the chamber portion with a modified fireformed cartridge case fitted with an outside o-ring which is easier than buying multiple fittings to find fitments

My chamber stays dry (I HATE solvent/oil/grease/water..... ANYTHING to ever change the internal chamber surface) and the steel doesn't wear the bore used properly

I am still using my Belding & Mull SS Rod that I bought way back in the 1970's. And I also us a Parker Hale Jag and it never exits the muzzle. My 32-40 competition rifle had over a 140,000 cast bullets down the bore. When I set a new 5-5Shot group average record with it. I also make my own cleaning rod guides, I am real careful in how I go about cleaning my rifle barrels. So I really don't buy into the need for having coated or carbon fiber rods etc.

A guy PM'd me

PM doesn't accept pix

this is what I mean..... I have dozens of them

You'se k'in do whatcha' want on the inside wit' o-rings and wraps and spacers and standoffs but rest assured the OUTSIDE stuff stays out of your chamber.

(I know, I know...... most folks don't CARE when stuff gets in the chamber, some folks puts GREAZE in their chamber, but I ain't most people)
