Pics up fellas st louis score

I get to play my favorite game tomorrow finally. I have been looking forward to tomorrow for quite some time. I have a couple pretty hot shooting 30br rifles " one with a brand new beggs tuner" i will get to enjoy. I just only hope they dont come down with " I dont want to shoot worth a hoot on game day syndrome" LOL!! Or in better terms i hope i dont come down with as that would be a better bet!! Anyway i will try to take some pics if i remember to grab the camera in the AM. We are heading out at 4am for the 3hr drive. it will be a long day. I hope i see some of you fine fellow there. Who's going?? Lee

Well it is all over with and we had a great shoot. Congrats to ron Hoehn for setting the new club record " sorry but i cant remember the exact score? 19x's though. I think he was only down four or five points all day and that was tough shooting for today's windy conditions. I shot well and finished fourth in the grand and fourth at 200. My best good friend Jim hart beat me out by 1 single point for third and Jerry couppels " spelled it wrong again" was second right behind ron only on x's i do believe. My rifle shot well and i handled it well. I did have one 7 at 200 that i wish i could have back. Not real sure why the bullet hit up there but it did. I finished 12th at 100 with a 249 12x so not what i was hoping for but not to bad either. Jim and myself were the only one with 249's going into the 200 that finished in the top 5, so over all us mattoon boys came home happy. We were running on around 3hr of sleep as we left the house at 4am this morning, so we were glad to be home and back with our families. Here are a few pics for you all to enjoy.

Thanks Lee

Thanks for the update Lee. Good shooting.

Congrats to Ron. I thought Hoehn was just a rude host for the group shoots but I now see he likes to abuse the score shooters as well ! At least he smiles while he slaps you.

Good to see Jim did well. Wonder if that 50 cal will work for group shoots?

Mark
