Dear Goodness,

Gene Bukys is a bad bad man. Congrats on the win BigTex. Your resume is looking pretty spectacular. Great shooting by Larry and Wayne. Normally those aggs stood a pretty darn good chance of winning the whole thing, but as said already,.... Gene is a bad bad man.

Follow the link to the Canadian BR site and scroll down to the picture Bill Gammon posted of Clayton Martin. I ran into Clayton last Tuesday coming out of Bruno's tent with a new barrel blank. Mr. Martin assured me he could chamber that barrel his self to shoot with the best of them. Apparently so since he finished 9th in HV200 with a most impressive .22 agg. Mr. Martin is 86. Isn't benchrest a wonderful sport?

(Mr. Martin's day job was as a tool maker!!)

Thanks for sharing Jerry. Have yet to meet many of the Canadian Shooters from the east. I have just met the Carter's. Clayton is who I hope to be one day. A man who loves the sport of benchrest to an age of a significant number. I hate using the term "ripe old age".

I met Clayton Martin a few yrs ago. Very hard of hearing. Very nice fellow.
Some of the stories, he tells are just incredible. He still has "the fire in the belly". And he can shoot up a target.
He told me he can win anything. As long as he can chamber a barrel and shoot Hottenstein bullets.
