Well..... Till they go poof in a grey cloud at about 50yds out..
Or the case/primer gets leaky........
3600+ and throat errosion will be fer sure!
3600 and the accuracy your getting is Just fine... Coyotes are gonna go belly up waaaaaay out there!

What is your twist rate? I just had two barrels chamered in 22-250 AI. Both barrels are Kreiger 1 in 8 twist. One of the barrels I had throated to shoot up to the 69 SMKs and the other throated to shoot the various 80 grainers. While fireforming some brass with 55 grn. Nosler BT's, I got some very accurate 200 yd. groups. Once all the brass is fireformed, I'm going to the 69's. Have you tried any other powders?

It is a PacNor SuperMatch 1:8 28". With the 69 SMK, I have only tried IMR 4350, IMR 4831, and IMR 4007SSC. I got the highest speeds with IMR 4831, but IMR 4007SSC gave the best groups at 3525-3550 fps. The 80 SMK and 80 AMax performed best with IMR 4831. Also tried IMR 4350, RE-19, and RE-22 with the 80s as well. The best groups were at 3350 fps with IMR 4381 using both the Amax and SMK. SMK needed to be seated in the lands in my gun for best groups.

Tiny68, I have a 22/250AI, and about 3400 - 3430 fps is about the pressure limit with the 69 grain Sierra MK in my rifle.(24.5 inch 10 twist barrel)
The same barrel was previously chambered for a .224 Clark for about 1600 shots, and achieved 3,930 fps with the 69 grain Sierra, with my working field load delivering around 3,850 fps. I have got good accuracy with both cases, and have never experienced a bullet blow up with the 69 grain MK. Brian.
