and some of what is out there is pretty much questionable

I don't have the inclination to wade through all my old "Precision Shooting" magazines. However, I did peruse the contents of the "Benchrest Shooting Primer", a collection of a hundred or more articles from the same magazine, and none of his writings were in there. I think he was a man who let his guns do the talking.
 
he is mentioned in the highpower section of the reloading guide, but nothing specific
