Sorry Y'all...

now let him ask his question and
remind others to stay on topic or get deleted
thanks wilbur

Nothing to be sorry about and pat yourself on the back for doing the right thing. Now if you could only figure out how to get rid of John Acosta from CNN.

Wilbur,
when this thread got started I didn't pay much attention. The objection to content or presentation could have come from a thread anywhere on this site. After reading more of the comments, I think this is more about "shipyard stories" then anything else.

I know I wandered away from life at a shipyard and stories about ships, but a lot of folks were reading it regardless... so I kept it going.

Anyway the last thing I wanted to do was to put you in the middle of what became an issue with some folks.

Your a good man and I am glad it was deleted. You really did the right thing.

Mort

A bit of advice, Wilbur.

Delete what you need to, but say nothing. When somebody with a burr under their saddle starts a rant demanding to know why, wait until they & their cohorts go overboard again & delete that one.

Behold, perpetual emotion!

You OK now? I'm good now that I know I didn't delete the wrong stuff !!!!

I'm good now and a little embarrassed !

Thanks for checking it out. One of the issues mentioned was not sticking with the topic and Shipyard Stories had a tendency to wander......just a little. That's
when I thought it was my thread which had recently disappeared.

John that's kinda evil.
sounds like a political thing also....

Francis...I'm somehow on night shift and can't get off. Got an appointment at 9AM Monday and that may help me get on another shift. It doesn't matter much these days but Christmas is right around the corner and if your not on day shift it's a problem.

And just think about poor Santa. He starts on the 3-11 shift but doesn't het back to the North Pole till after 5 AM!!
