I have posted he on BRC for several years. I have met many both personally and some only by the phone or web. One of the frequent poster here is Butch Lambert who loaned me a custom made wrench several years ago to let me duplicate. Butch did not know me from "Adam". As a policy I generally don't loan tools as it has resulted in my loosing many fine and expensive tools. Since then Butch and I have become friends even though we have never personally met. We sometimes disagree on methods but have the deepest respect for each other. Butch's family is a first class group. His wife is always warm and friendly when I call. I would love to go bass fishing with her if I were to get the oppertunity. Throught the years I have learned about Butch's children and grandchildren. Yesterday, I had the oppertunity to have a visit from Butches son Scott, who is in Law school in Virgina and his grandson Pierce. Let me say there has not been two nicer young men to visit me than Scott and Pierce. Butch you and your wife have alot to be proud of. Your children represent you and your wife very well. It makes me feel good that we have such fine young folks following our generation.

Nat,
This is one of the good byproducts of shooting and the shooting community. I have met and associated with some of the nicest people . Why am I going to the FISS? To shoot yes, but mainly to visit a lot of great folks that you can only see there.
Nat, thinks for helping my son. My son,Scott, is going to take an advanced handgun class at the Blackwater Facility and needed 2000 rounds of 45acp. Pretty costly for a student with a family. Nat stepped in and gathered the components and loaded them for Scott. Saved him quite a bit of money.

I think everyone could learn something from these two fine individuals (I use individuals for a lack of a better term....as they both put eveyone ahead of themselves).

Butch, thank you for doing the same for me as Nat. Loaning me some very expensive items even though you didn't know me. It was great to finally get to meet you at the SS last year.

Nat, outstanding on the ammo.

I think these two show the "Pay it Forwar" approach to life. Kudos.

I am proud to call Butch my friend and he is worthy of all you have said about him. He is extremly skilled in all levels of machining and gun making.
Although I only know you by telephone visit, I find you to be of the same.

I met Butch at my second registered match. Not sure how long ago that was but he hasn't changed. He's one of the good guys for sure.
