I know this is late in coming but I would like to thank every one at NBRSA 600 yard Nationals in Sacramento Ca for helping train a new BR shooter.
Thank you all.
When I started preparing for this I thought I was an expert reloader as I have been loading for varmints since 1972 and building long range hunting and varmint rifles since 1992. I have studied and observed bench rest gunsmithing procedures for years so building a good rifle was not a problem, tuning for bench rest bench rest versus varmint loads was a real problem. I have gone through every emotion from this is a pain in the butt and I'm quitting to scheduling vacation time and preparing a new rifle for the 1000 yard Nationals in October.
I would also encourage any one with the slightest interest in accurate rifles to read these forums and try a bench rest match.
Thanks again.

Hi, Lynn there are alot of people in Bakersfield shooting the BRX and having good luck with it, is there something about the Dasher that makes it a better choice for 1000 yard shooting ? My new barrel is a Krieger 6mm, .237, 1:8 twist 1.250 straight 28 inch finish length. I plan to build the new rifle on a 17 pound LG platform, I may just rebarrel my existing rifle as it works so well.

I was going to order up a 6Dasher reamer but my barrels won't be here until september on the early one and november on the other one.
This delay gave me some time to reconsider my options and I have been debating the two choices.I have heard nothing but good about both.
