Slide Tape

Do any of you use a Slide Tape (for lack of a better name) on your BR guns? I have some a freind gave me, but it's time to replace it and I'm not certain, which tape is the proper tape? I'll be using it on an aluminum front and rear slide. I shoot in 50 BMG matches and just wondered what you guys are using? I've been directed to Kapton Polymide, but it not even close to what I now have on my slides.

Thanks

Stock tape.

Look for "stock tape" or "teflon tape" at any BR supply vendor. Old used dryer fabric softener sheets work well also but not attached to stock, just inserted between stock and bag.

of us who sell stock tape. Myself, Benchrite, Sinclair, we all have at least the clear tape and most have both clear and true teflon.
