Does the neck tension change when sizing brass at 30 Degrees F versus, sizing at 70 degrees F? russell m

Hey Russell,
Once every decade or so the temps in Texas dips below 30 degrees and you gotta go shootin. :) Interesting question though, maybe some of the metallurgist types have the answer.I have reloaded outdoors down to single digits and never noticed any difference in "feel" either sizing brass or seating bullets.Solvent bottles freeze, wet patches freeze, fingers freeze, but the brass seems to behave normally.A slight difference in neck tension( like some guys use buttons in .0005 increments) dosn't seem to effect load performance, certainly not as much as temperature fluctuations effect powder burn characteristics.
Hope all is well,
Joel

Try it some time

No difference in loading at - 25 in Canada durning winter matches many years ago.
Don't breathe on the scope eye piece .
Shooters Choice will freeze .

It did remind me of working on drilling rigs in the winter.
Wear the right clothing and don't look at a thermometer !
