Simple barrel question.

In the past I dabbled in cartridge collecting. Some of the interesting pictures to me were old cartridges cut length wise.
Does any one out there have any pictures or know of a post of barrel sections cut length wise to show erosion , rust , improper cleaning, different stye of process making?

I have some factory remington and savage barrels milled in half to show how the inside of new factory barrels and chambers look. Its real scary especially to see those "custom shop" barrels and chambers reamed with i guess a hand drill
