Shop Made Floating Reamer and Drill Holder

I was lucky and purchased some high end commercial floating holders for scrape metal prices. They are very similar in design. That's one of the better of this type video's that I have seen.

Very nice. The young man has covered all the bases, which is very important with any project. He also has some serious job shop machining capabilities.

In particular I like the idea of the piece of high speed steel against the ball insert to give the holder true radial self aligning capability to avoid any reamer side binding.
