Shilen Savage "Drop-In" Barrel Recommendations?

I'd like to buy a Shilen drop-in barrel for my Savage Model 10. Any leads/Web addresses for who might have the lowest prices? BTW, has anyone installed one of these barrels on their Savage?...:D
 
Northland Shooter Supply and "The Barrel Man" have them at below retail.

I have one, very pleased. If you talk direct with Shilen they can get the freebore where you want it.
 
I bought 2 6br barrels from Midway and both are great. I had them at my door the next day.

Accuracy arms is the cheapest I know of. Midway stocks a few, but is usually backordered due to popular demand. The Barrelman (Jerry) and Accuracy Arms both place their orders with Shilen once they get an order, so be prepared to have 12-16 week wait unless things have greatly improved in the last couple of months. Jim at Northland Shooter Supply (763-420-7163, he doesn't have a web site) advertises on SavageShooters.com. Not sure if you have to be a member to see this link. http://www.savageshooters.com/SavageForum/index.php?topic=14194.0 Jim has been doing some mass orders in the popular chamberings and has a few barrels in stock. Many more on the way. Good guy to deal with.

I would give Jim Briggs at Northlander a call. He sells Shilen and McGowen barrels at good prices.
