Score match at Rockingham County Gun Club ( NC ) August 27th, 2022

RCGC will be hosting our next score match of the year this Saturday, August 27th. This match will be at 200 yards.

Targets are scored using a reticle, so there is no caliber advantage. Classes are available for Benchrest, Modified, and factory rifles.

Season trophies will be awarded at our last match in October.

You do NOT have to be a club member to participate.

Nice day for a match at the Rock, conditions were fairly light with a switchy head wind to keep you honest. Derrick Loflin put a wiping on everyone with a smoking 269-19x score at 200 yds, that is some fine shooting. Terry Hollady was 2nd with a good 264-14x score and Thomas Arrington was 3rd with 262-12x score. We had a pretty good turnout with 17 shooters all VFS. They are considering shooting UBR next year just FYI, the decision will be made by the end of the season. If you are interested come to the match and express your opinion, the decision will be made by the shooters that attend. Congrats to all that shot well and thanks to the ones that make the match happen.
