Scope Question

Is anyone using an IOR Valdada 36x scope and if so Pro's and Con's?

Not really, although there is a good review by James Mock floating around : http://74.81.201.239/docs/BenchrestRiflescope.pdf

I have never seen one on a BR rifle, or seen one in the top 10/20 equipment list of a large match.

Rich de -- who occasionally visits the long range forum, had a different model on one of his 1K rifles for a time. IIRC, he liked it quite a bit. Though I do believe was a loaner for evaluation/marketing purposes --he'd just st the LG 5-shot record -- and after considerable time, he gave it back rather than purchasing it. He already had perfectly good scopes, so that's not to diminish the Valdada...

A friend let me borrow one, the only thing wrong is it's too heavy. If you are going to manufacture a 36x Benchrest Scope, you should do iut with the knowledge that someone might be putting it on a 10.5 pound Rifle.

Everything else was fine.
