Scope Magnification?

What power scope should I set on top of my 6br. I currently have several 22 rimfire with T36 Weavers and a 223 with a 8-32x52 Konus. I'm thinking about a 45x Leupold.
 
I would be mounting it on a 6br to shoot moderate distances, 200, 400 yard etc.
 
I think he's rather asking how much field of view you'll need. To shoot off a bench at a fixed target, a 45X Leupold is a nice scope. I wouldn't want one for any position shooting, even prone.
 
Thanx for the clarification, I can use all the help I can get. :eek: And yes it would be used for benchrest shooting.
 
I'm really fond of my 2 NightForce 12-42x BRs. Then again, I'm find of my T-36, too. Just comes up a tad under-powered at 300 for me.
 
Just bought a Leupold 45x45, Leupold Mk4 Rings and 20MOA EGW mount for my 6br. I haven't mounted the system yet, the anticipation is building.
