Sail Tails

In rimfire, what do you consider the better sailtail material, 0.75 or 1.5 ounce? I’m using 1.5 ounce for centerfire but I’m in the process of getting some new flags ready for rimfire. I ask because I’ve built some flags 3/4 the size of my centerfire flags and think I should also tone down the rimfire tails.

I can’t remember which weight I bought when making my tails, but, for 10 bucks a yard buy some of each and run a test.
 
I have a bunch of both but thought I’d ask before I cut a bunch and had to store them in tubes. I have several colors from back when I was making them for centerfire. But now Eric is branching out to rimfire and Paul has gone to the dark side of air rifles.
