Sad news from central Iowa.

R.G. Robinett

"That'll never work."
This afternoon, March 8, 2011, unexpectedly, following a brief illness, Dale Fritts, of Lehi, IA, passed away. Dale was a respected competitor - he will be missed by those who shared his passion for precision rifles, hunting, and the outdoors.
As soon as the details become available, they will be posted here.
My prayers and sympathy, to Jolene, and the rest of Dale's family and loved ones. RG

Terrible news

Dale was respected by everyone that knew him...a true gentleman in every way. His quiet manner and competitive spirit will be missed on the firing line. Jolene and all of Dale's family and friends are in my prayers.

The next time I'm at the range, I'll fire one down there for you, Dale. You were one of the good ones. -Al

This is stunning news. Another reminder of how fleeting and fragile our opportunity on earth is. My deepest condolences to Dales family and friends.

I have just spoken with Terry Meyer, his good friend in Iowa, and learned about this devastating news. Dale was as good as it gets. A down-to-earth nice guy. Always full of fun, pleased to see you, helpful, honest and solid to be around. My thoughts to all family friends and Jolene. When someone this good leaves us so suddenly it is numbing to the mind.
