Do you guys know of anyone that makes replacable trigger for the Ruger American rifle (to replace the dreaded accu-trigger? Thank you much for any input

Remove the trigger, disassemble, cut the trigger spring to .570, cut 2 coils off the accutrigger spring, polish the trigger and sear contact points.
Usually ends up about 2 lbs. I've done about 10 that way.
The trigger pull adjustment spring has to come out the back of the trigger housing, the trigger adjustment set screw hole is smaller than the spring diameter.

Replacement spring

I was hesitant to modify the factory trigger spring, so I substituted the spring from a cheap ball point pen. Gave an adjustable pull of 1.5 to 2 pounds.
